This iconic 1993 S/S Gianni Versace Couture collared blazer was made in Italy of lined silk crepe with a colorful Tarzan movie poster print. The print was featured on that season's runway, and the same style jacket was sold in Christie's 2011 auction "The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor." It says "TARZAN" across the back, with fictional movie posters and scenes of adventure among jungle plants and animal print. The jacket fastens at the waist with an enamel gold-tone button that has a beach scene on it.
Overall, the jacket is in good condition and presents beautifully but there are a few notes. The original owner put in a lining. It was originally a double-breasted jacket and there are two button holes at the waist. It's missing the cuff buttons. There are a few very minor snags and pulls. We have decided not replace the buttons due to their uniqueness, and have adjusted the price to reflect its imperfections. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
