A heavy weight full length brown cotton caftan, dating from the late 1960’s - early 1970’s from inventive Mexican designer Josefa. This piece features flared sleeves, an embroidered abstract pattern all around the length of small buttons from the neck to the hips. The embroidery has the effect of evoking both animal and plant life at once while remaining abstract; a skilled piece of artistry. Ribbon finishing on the inside bottom hem that reads “For Anna x Edmundo Villa”
